Enersize is passionate about compressed air. We find it hot! Compressed air enables advanced production and is used, for example, for the operation of rotary engines, compressed air cylinders and hand tools as well as for painting, cooling and blowing. Compressed air is non-explosive, does not cause sparks or fires and can be used in almost all types of environments. Compressed air even helps to save lives as it is used extensively in healthcare.

Compressed air is often considered a “free” medium, even though everyone knows that the compressors which generate compressed air are powered by electrical energy. However, what isn’t widely known is that the cost of generating compressed air, even in midsize organizations, can amount to significant sums of money.

Many initiatives are now stimulating increased interest in addressing this opportunity. For example, the United Nations Agenda 2030 and the Paris Agreement are pushing for energy optimization and the avoidance of waste. ISO 50001 is helping organizations to structure their work by identifying and addressing the potential for energy savings. The technology evolution, overall digitalization and Industry 4.0 are all making it easier and more cost-efficient to gain real-time data and make data-driven decisions. It has to be said, there has never been a better time to work with energy optimization of compressed air.

Enersize has built a complete Software-as-a-Service suite in the cloud – supporting all the change management steps and related work to deliver energy optimization of industrial compressed air. We do this in 3 major steps – and with a commercial validation between each to secure project profitability.

  1. We start with what we call “Xray”. We read and analyse the current situation with the help of battery-driven, mobile sensors to capture the data.
  2. In the next step we “Xecute”. We find and repair air leakages in the system, reduce the energy cost of compressed air and confirm the savings with a 2nd “Xray”.
  3. Finally, we help customers to “Xcel”. We institute sustainable energy optimization of the compressed air system. By establishing continuous monitoring we support data-driven decisions, keeping leakage in control and further optimize the compressed air system.

First ASEAN order for Enersize – Receives order from PT Cicor Panatec in Indonesia

Enersize Advanced Research AB has received an order from the Indonesian company PT Cicor Panatec. The order applies to system analysis and equipment used together with Enersize’s Software-as-a-Service platform Compressed Air Services for energy optimization of industrial compressed air. The order value initially amounts to the equivalent of approximately SEK 200,000 (approximately EUR 20,000), and can then be extended to the Enersize complete solution.
