Enersize receives important patent approvals in China

Nasdaq First North-listed Enersize Oyj ("Enersize" or "the Company") has received two approvals for its Chinese patent applications. The patents relate partly to a method for designing, optimizing, and performing measurements of compressed air systems that consist of several compressors, and partly to visualizing the energy consumption in such systems. The patents are important steps in the development of the Enersize software platform Compressed Air Services ("CAS"), which offers Enersize's customers continuous monitoring and optimization of compressed air systems.

The patents mean that Enersize has exclusive rights for 20 years from the application date, until March 20, 2038, in China and has been assigned numbers ZL 201810231363.4 and ZL 201810230815.7. The first patent relates to a method for carrying out measurements of a compressor system consisting of several compressors, in order to streamline and optimize energy use. The second patent is about how to model and visualize the energy consumptiom in such systems.

”Enersize's unique solution for optimizing compressed air systems forms the basis of our new business model, which is based on subscriptions to our cloud-based software platform CAS. An important task for us is to increase the value of Enersize's intangible assets and ensure that our service portfolio holds good patent protection in the markets in which we are located”, says CEO Anders Sjögren
