Scania orders hardware for its facility in Södertälje

Nasdaq First North-listed Enersize announces that Scania has ordered additional components for its facility in Södertälje. The order value is limited to less than SEK 100,000, but it is an important indicator and confirms that there is great interest from Scania to continue and expand the collaboration that aims to save money by finding energy savings in Scania's comprehensive compressed air system.

Enersize develops and delivers smart software, tools, and services to enable energy optimization of industrial compressed air systems. Enersize announced on May 24, 2022, that Scania has chosen to extend and expand the pilot project entered between the companies previously.

"The order value is limited to less than SEK 100,000, but the order confirms that Scania is motivated to expand the project together with us to gain better insight into the compressed air system at the facility in Södertälje," says Anders Sjögren, CEO of Enersize.

The components consist of compressed air flow meters that are used for continuous monitoring of Scania's compressed air systems, where data can be sent to Enersize cloud software Compressed Air Services. More transmitters increase Enersize's ability to identify inefficiencies and operational problems. In this way, Scania can implement energy efficiency and other improvement measures in the compressed air system.

"Scania shows confidence in Enersize, and for us this is an important pilot project to show what we can achieve in the automotive industry. The potential is great within the Scania Group, the group that Scania is part of and the global automotive industry. Enersize was part of Traton Innovation Expo and we see that there is great interest in our work ", says Anders Sjögren, CEO of Enersize
